Jims exploding steam engine

Quick note: boiler should be water pressure tested (2xworking pressure), pressure gauge, water glass and safety valve installed (set to 1/2 tested pressure. I did not see much steam release in that explosion so I suspect it was very low on water and the solder then melted. Even soft solder melts at around 600F, you can reach 150psi at 366'F and not melt solder as long as the heating surfaces are covered in water.

Fecking idiot!

Bugger, it was a nice little model too. Still if you get a new boiler, it will work again. Don't forget the safety valve this time and heat it up with the release valve open so you will know when the water is starting to boil.

That's no normal flame to use for such long period of time on such a small boiler, Without pressure releasing. That was silly billy!

are u guys nuts?!

"i think i should open the valve because the pressure is getting BOOM" hot water to face

Christ! Did he use electrical solder!?!?!? LOL!! FAIL!!!
Perhaps the title " Twit builds and operates a bomb" would be more appropriate?
How about " Now you see my steam engine, now you don't" ?
What about, " I could have sworn my head was attatched to my shoulders when I started filiming this vid!"
