2009 January: Fiesta San Antonio, Sedella, Axarquia, Spain

the Fiesta San Antonio is celebrated on the weekend of 17th January every year in the towns and villages in Spain. Saint Anton is the protector of all animals, so villagers will get on their horses, mules and bring their animals to be blessed on Sunday after mass. I took my husky Aztec also to be blessed and filmed my neigbour and landlord riding their horse and mule to the centre of the village of Sedella, in the Axarquia, to receive their blessings.
