The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, visits the East London Mosque and will call for greater tolerance and understanding of Muslim communities. His message comes during the month of Ramadan.

Ignorance huh? I'm a normal citizen, not in any far left or right groups. Yet even I hate these fuckers. They're constantly spreading hate and death. All they want is for everyone to bow down to them and believe in Allah (Which I will never do, I know religion is horse shit.)

The sooner the government act hard on their "protests" the better. Treat them as they would be treated in their backwards countries and they will soon appreciate democracy and freedom.

Mutual incomprehension indeed! I'd like to see just how many muslims know anything of the history of Christian Europe, or much of their own history for that matter. Virtually no practicing muslim seems to have a historical understanding of Mohummad, and even less of Jesus of Nazereth. In fact, if they did, they would realise that the execution of Jesus is well attested in Roman, Jewish, and Christian sources, so Mohummad's claim that Jesus wasn't executed must have been false.

The mayor thinks that there is an incredible degree of prejudice based on simple ignorance.

Now, I don't like islam at all. I have studied islam and islamic culture a great deal. And I don't like what I see. Actually I think that islam is the basis of the sickest inhumane cultures in the history of the modern world. Would the mayor like to debate me on islam and find out who's the ignorant one? Does he know ANYTHING about islam and the life of the socalled prophet?

that's the way of the dress around christ's time as well.

it is great to see the mayor making such a unique gesture. we need more of this type of communal harmony to be established to lessen the pain of the violence that's out there.
