  • As a trombone player , I really like the way he used all the instuments and didn't always hog the lead parts

  • Ahhh, Sandra Moss.....enchanting!

  • Today I finally listened to this instrumental after decades and it suddenly dawned on me that when I heard it first, it was really a very good year of my life.

  • this sounds like pink floyd stole this music 7 years later for atom heart mother.......I love this!!!!.

  • I too began trumpet at age. It was because of Herb Apert's style. What a great inspiration.

  • he invented "easy listening" music, herb was the best

  • This was the record which encouraged me to take up the trumpet at aged 9.I went on to music college at Leeds and my best mate Dave Plews ended up backing Elvis Costello. This is the most perfect rendition of this Sinatra classic and has the most fond memories.

  • This is, by far, the best version of this song ever made. Herb Rules.

  • Heb always had the sexiest chics on his album covers.

It was a very good career....
