  • Did you order your A-data ddr3 kit off the A-data Online store?

  • nope i got these from an online shop called memoryc. at the time i bought these they were the only place that had them on stock.

  • Thanks Jullukka! I assumed that you have to get them directly from A-data b/c ultra-end stuff you usually have to get them DIRECTLY from the manufacturer. E.g. The Corsair TR3x3GB2000C7GTF is only being sold through their online store. Did it take much time to tweak the settings to achieve 2133Mhz @ CL7?

  • these sticks dont go that far with cl7, max for cl 7-7-7- 17 for this particular kit is around 2010mhz-1040mhz depending on the board and bios.

  • 2 volt vcore !!!!! wow

  • well since i've played around with this board ALOT on air cooling/water/ cascade and now ln2 i already knew what sort of settings i needed to get my cpu and everything else stable so i guess no not really i didnt have to do lot of fiddling around in bios :D those dominators are pretty good, you should also check out cellshock or team extreme ram they are highly overclocable too.

  • still very good. I was planning to go for the Corsair Dominator GT b/c I've read many great user reviews about it (i.e. achieve the advertised speeds with nearly no hassle). Did you have to play with the BIOS settings quite a bit on your Rampage Extreme to achieve the speeds you just mentioned?
