Yuck...can you imagine that we had to put up with this sentimental, badly written, s**te during the 80s? Smug, affected, criminally mirthless rubbish. Uggh...Carla Lane.. Wasn't she also responsible for the utterly mirthless Liver Birds and Butterflies. Wouldn't you rather eat glass than watch anything as un-urbane and unsophisticated as this? ISitcoms like this are more offensive and more criminal than anything that Gary Glitter, Jeffrey Dalhmer or Dennis Nilson have ever done.

Whilst I accept you may not be a fan of this show and others like it. do you really think the halfwit comparisons you made are worth you spending the time writing them, if you had any idea you would have found out who actually wrote it, before making these ridiculous comments
