My God I love this game. I've watched a lot of your videos, and I have a question. I'm assuming you used an emulator for this, so my question is: which emulator did you use, and how do you record these videos? They're something I'm really interested in doing at some point soon, and I'm curious as to what software you used.

I recorded with the Built-in AVI record feature used with SNES9x SNES Emulator. I downloaded and installed the XviD video codec first though. You should try it out if you can figure it out. Man, they made a huge leap from DQ5 to DQ6. This game just seems kinda boring compared to either DQ4 or DQ6. Then again, I've never played DQ6 all the way through so I can't say for sure.

I agree. It's like the same jump Squaresoft made from Final Fantasy 5 to Final Fantasy 6...coincidence? I dunno honestly.

@PepperPumpernickel .. Ha ha ha .. I actually had the veil . but it was in the bag and I had to have the hero have it in his possession. Some chick in a pink dress was standing in front of the building were I was supposed to bring the thing, but she was blocking the path,. and she kept saying to "bring the veil" the hero had too many things when I first received the veil, so when I got the veil it automatically put it in the bag. I took it out of the bag and gave it to the hero and wham.

@8bitMagician Enter the cave at the left side of the entrance to the town where your childhood friend lives. The guy inside will give you the veil.

So, I tried playing the Snes version and I ended-up HATING it for the piss poor translation. Feels so, so, so bland.

I use to hate the localized version because of the shitty puns but at least they keep the soul of the characters in context. >_>;

@babyjoker7898 ... someone has to tell me where to bring the veil to your wife... I am at the part where the rich guy wants to mary off his daghter .. and you can chose between the rich guys daughter or your child hood friend... where are they... how do I get the marriage going?
