If you had the spinning rod and reel mounted on deck of the boat THEN YOU COULD CALL IT A FISHING BOAT THAT ACTUALL CATCHES FISH!!!!!!.
These so call fishing boats are reall TOYS and can not reel in a fish!!!!!!!

I always wanted to do this, but only because the lake I fish at all the huge fish are in the middle which is about 200 yards away from shore and they dont allow you to go swimming or use boats in the lake. And this is obviously further than I can cast. So I always thought about constructing an RC Boat to take my line way out there and drop it off. And since the beach declines so much you cant exactly use a surf rod correctly either.. or else id rather just spend a few hundred on that instead.

what boat is that? i have the exact same one from like 7 years ago, its a radioshack model, but i cant find it anywhere. I need replacement parts. Does anyone know what kind of ship it is?

Most people use the pull tab,you take a clothes pin hook your line around it with your lure or work w/e hang off the back of your boat,when a fish bites it unhooks the line from the clothes pin and you reel it in with your fishing rod,then line you used to hook onto your clothes pin was directly your fishing rod line

At the RC Fishing World website. Type RC Fishing World into your search bar. Six different R/C Fishing boats to choose from.

1.)"THE RC FISHING POLE" attach's to ANY RC boat.
2.)You use you fishing pole, bait your hook, and attach the line on "THE RC FISHING POLE"
3.)Now, you drive the RC boat to the fishing spot.
4.) When a fish hits, the line Will disconnect from the RC boat.
5.) Now, just like regular fishing, you reel in the fish with you fishing pole.
SEE THE FISHING LINE IS ATTACHED TO YOUR REGULAR FISHING POLE, AND "THE RC FISHING POLE"

Why does the boat not sink? "THE RC FISHING POLE" was designed so when a fish hits, the fishing line will disconnect from the RC boat. That means you can catch fish any size!
