Megalopolis- pre fire with underglaze.

The first in my new collection titled, "Megalopolis". This sculpture has been under glazed but not fired. I have to finish it by sat jan 2nd. I am donateing it for auction @ the Thick space gallery for a fund raiser to help endangered species. Aertist are donateing 20% of sales to the cause. I am donateing 100% of my sales. This is important to me.

Thank you. I fired it last night and then got the clear coat glaze on it this afternoon. The colors really pop now. I also fused the garbage and a few more butterflies onto it. The detail of this work is literally painful to execute. It will be interesting to see the reactions to it @ the exhibition. In general. More people don't get it than do. lol, Good thing I don't need external validation. With my work at least..lolol.
