I understand that, however i perfer traditional tahitian more. I totally get that new things need to happen in order to push the culture forward. I feel like contemperary is a little rushed but that is because i like traditional better doesn't mean that i'm wrong or contemperary is wrong.

@fijimonster lol shes not palangi shes Tahitian, her name is Moena, and shes the best Ori dancer in the world! She used to be a former lead dancer for this group, the famous Les Grands Ballets de Tahiti, but now she dances for Tahiti Ora under Tumata Robinson former director etc for the Les Grands Ballets!

@Kapiolani20 btw Tumata, former co director and costume designer of the Les Grands Ballet, now owner, and director of her own group Tahiti Ora with Moean as lead dancer said: ''the great thing about dance is that a dancer should be free to express themselves they way they want to express the dance, either it's traditional or contemporary''!
