Whatever happened we are rl fans and i have been to so many finals watching wigan and other teams and never once felt threatened enough not to take my kids with me untill that final it was a shame i can stand swearing to a point as its a final but getting hit with plastic bottles of ale raining down on my kids then a female getting grabbed enough was enough ,anyway they was not rugby fans full stop but i wont be taking my little lad to a final again till he is older .

Seen and read about this incident so much and its always completely wrong. I was in the the block to the left of the fight, when we got to out seats there was a group of lads, not Wire and not even Rhinos fans, granted from leeds but not their to support their local boys, just to do nothing else than cause trouble, goading everyone around them from the get go, throwing beer and intimidating poeple who were there for the event, eventually it came to a head and it kicked off. the truth.

It was wire fans, 4 or 5 really foul mouthed idiots effin and jeffin, drunk off the barmaids apron and Loiners fans, also effin and jeffin. A wiganer with his family objected, the wire fans had a go, then the leeds fans had a go at them. The Wiganer seemed to send about 4 of them flying.
