the cribs sound is a tad generic but the genius of the flow and lyrics is their own i dont care if bands are mainstream or not thats childish if a band can manage to turn generic chord progression into their own soulful beats then have at it [the new songs are a little bad though]

Well, they have Johnny Marr, which is a slight improvement, but since he's playing their music he can't really make up for the boring and generic part.

i always thought the cribs were raw and clever. and kol during their youth and young manhood days were promising. it's kind of sad they sold out.

that's why i want to know if the cribs managed to fashion their sound better without selling their soul, or if they're heading for the charts just like everybody else.
