  • Loved that cast at 1:00

  • @qwer2190 Dont get me wrong, he is an amazing and beautiful caster. It seems like a lot of these can be used to overcome the same problem/obstacle, so you just need to find which one of these "extreme" casts leave you will fewer "wind knots" which we all know are in "fact casting knots."

Either way he has a beautiful loop, and some innovative casting strokes.

  • When you do all theese circles it looks very good but you dont put as much load to the rod as with a traditional speycast. Look how much line he has behind the body and compare to a speycast. Take a minute to think witch one that spooks less amount of fish. And compare that to a ordinary cast thats more time consuming but effective. Many of my friends can do this if they want but they dont !

    Why ?

  • Awesome, one of my favorite Youtube vids

  • All these casts are useful in certain situations. Stefan is a great young representative of fly fishing. Check out the great pictures on his blog ;)

  • I can do that with no hands

  • I love what you're doing and I applaud your innovative style of casting. You're a conductor!

  • Genius

  • Nice casting technique no doubt....

But look at the waves hes creating around his body

Looka at the surface how he rip it to pieses making stillwater as turbulent as a riffle. This i useful when fishing in fast moving waters when the fish isnt easy to spooke. Still nice to look at for a beginner....
