My husband was layed off and you all know how the job market is. We stocked up on food and now we are living off our stored food. All we need to buy very little now and beleive me it is saving us a lot of money. Helping us to make ends meet.

if they cant find your food then you cant be charged with the horde law :) you have to depend on the stupidity of others and their lazyness,they wont dig up your garden to see if there are 5o gallon drums lurking below

vacumed sealed with oxygen obsorber aka hand warmer will keep ten years easy use bulk grains lentles beans and so on .4 mil trash bag with 2 foot warmers vacume the air out .. twist and tie closed put on lid. it will stay air tight .. im selling off anything i can live without now while i can and buying bulk ..

My favorite is canned tuna in olive oil. The shelf life is very long and tuna has a ton of protein. 1 can can be a meal for a grown man.

Nice grocery store, but if something as bad as you suggested happens you will get killed by other hungry people who will be after your food. Otherwise it is a good plan.
