This illusion isn't even an illusion. its based on a theory that we percieve the world "top down" (that is we dont see things as they are but as we are used to seeing them). That is we are used to seeing the features of a face as convex (that is the nose sticks out) so our brain refuses to see it as concave (although it actually is), this is purley based on our previous knowledge about faces. its just the inside of a plastic mask. google Richard Gregory,
The nose ring and popped out eyes on the hollow side gave it away. I could tell right off the bat by the way those two moved in relation to everything else...
