  • quarter repping perhaps to strengthen the upper half of the motion?

  • @Wraithdegothia The problem isnt in people, the problem is in misleading title.

If somebody comes here to see 130kg benchpress and instead of it he will see 130kg boardpress, you cant be surprised that he will be angry or disapointed even if the person knows everything about powerlifting :)

  • why the HELL DO THEY HAVE THERE BACK LIKE THAT...and whats that strap

  • Yes you can always complain about it. But on the other hand, anyone who's got at least some experience with powerlifting knows what she's doing so there's not much point complaining. If someone doesn't know anything about powerlifting, why do they care enough to complain about it? Ask questions and learn instead of complaining about stuff you don't understand.

Sorry if I sound condescending but I'm just tired of some of the common youtube comments, I mean no offense.

  • @Wraithdegothia Well, as you said, the title is wrong. So if someone says in the title 1000kg benchpress and bench only 100kg, would you defend him also?

The point is, you CAN complain about it, if the title doesnt match video the content :)

  • nice job Irina. you have a lot of strength

  • that was more like a decline bench press the way her back was arched...still...very very impressive

  • Alright. If you put it that way I think we can agree ;)

  • i kno how powerlifters train its just the video says 130 kg x 4 which is false. it should day board press.

  • Oh those are reps alright, but the title should say boardpress instead of benchpress since that's what it is. It could also say how thick the board is. Boardpress, floorpress, and the usage of chains or rubber bands are all very good ways to increase your shirt bench. The shirt helps you more at the bottom than the top, so you train like this to improve your lockout.

Please do not criticize things you don't understand. At least read up a bit on how powerlifters train before running your mouth.
