I agree that the Billy Elliot boys do a great job...which is why I'm happy that they got Best Actor. HOWEVER, I think that overall, N2N should have gotten Best Musical.

I kind of wish that I hadn't seen this before I watched the musical... that moment where Dan finally says his name at the end would've been so much more powerful :-/ still amazing though :)

I think all of them are amazing. N2N and SA are just musicals dealing with really serious issues. I love the music in both shows and listen to them constantly. As for Shrek, I thought it was laugh out loud funny. It just depends on what kind of experience you're going for at the moment. Plus, I'm mad for Sutton Foster so I'm a little biased. On the other hand, I also love Aaron, Jen, Alice, Bobby, Lea, Jon Groff and JGJ. Can we all just agree that they're all amazing? :)

Out of the Meet the Family N2N videos, I like Gabe's the most. Why?

1: Because it's Aaron Tveit.

but more because unlike the other ones, Gabe's has a bunch of different expressions and it shows how truly awesome Aaron is. Plus, he's my favourite character.

Wow, lots of animosity towards Shrek here. While I agree that it's not as good as N2N or many others, it's also an entirely different kind of musical. N2N is definitely geared more towards adults, while Shrek is a family experience. They both fill different spots. Comparing the two would be like comparing an action movie with a comedy. Both can be good in different ways, and one isn't really better than the other, they just both strive for different things.

This is what makes Broadway amazing. Musicals like this are the true works of art in the great world of musicals.

It horrifies me that Shrek got nominated for best musical.

I really love this advertisement so much. It's perfect...(especially with Aaron Tveit's smile) Everybody tries to put on a face and hide how they're feeling at one point or another. Love Next to Normal <3

@helloruthere100 Calm down...haha. I have seen all of them, thank you. Not just YouTube clips. The main thing I am not a fan of for Spring Awakening is the songs. They just aren't catchy enough for me...but the OBC was super talented so I give them props. Rent is just the opposite. I am not a huge fan of the story, but the songs are phenom. And I said I love this musical, so calm yourself. Hee hee

By the way, it's called an opinion. Grow up and get used to it.

@cheer7780 um you can shut ur fuckin mouth. To evem say what u have said is like a sin. Shrek doesn't hold a candle to spring awakening, rent, or n2n...have u even seen any of those shows. u prob just watch youtube clips and think that is qualification to judge.
