Conch (Konk) Fritters are extremely hard to find on restaurant menus because Conch is an endangered mullusk species. Now! Due to companies (in the British West Indies) Conch is being farm-raised. We recently purchased farm-raised Conch and prepared great tasting Conch Fritters. Try this recipe at home.
Thanks for this.

Sctorzd,
I am also a Bahamian and I live in Sewell NJ. Hit me up . To home&town, authentic conch fritters contain No curry. Curry will tend to overpower the conch flavor.

Curry powder was exported by the British but was not invented by them. They wanted people who dd not live in India to have some taste of the dishes there. They got the idea for their recipe from Indians.
