John B. Alexander Avant Guard - 2009 T.E.C.A. State Contest - San Antonio, Texas

This is the John B. Alexander Avant Guard performance at T.E.C.A. State. This took place at Southwest High School in San Antonio, Texas on March 28, 2009.

The Avant Guard is lead by Jose Lopez & Selma Gonzalez. Colorguard Captain is Jaclynne Torres(Senior)

Show is titled "Artists Against The Grain".
1st Mvt. is music from "Appalachian Spring" written for Martha Graham.
2nd Mvt. is "All Blues", from the Jazz artist Miles Davis.
3rd Mvt. is for Jackson Pollock The Avant Guard finished in 3rd place in Scholastic A with a score 90.0.

This being the highest score in A.H.S. history.
