  • Don't talk about stuff you don't know. People that suffer from clinical depression don't want to be that way. Depression knows no social class nor race. it's a mental sickness just like when you get a cold or a fever. I DO know because I am a Clinical Psychology major. Get your facts straight. People that suffer from clinical depression or any other mental illness need help and treatment just like any other physical sickness.

  • you wake one morning, afraid you're going to live

  • is this movie any good. Firts time I hear about it

  • As the first song is called this in the background?

  • @KakashiHatake212 yay finally someone with a brilliant comback to all those narrow minded idiots out there. thankyou

  • ...or perhaps you live one night, afraid youre going to wake?

  • @gravelandgrain100 I spent a year working with bipolar patients in a clinical research unit, and if Ricci's brilliant performance is true to life, I am convinced that Lizzie was suffering from bipolar affective disorder (which, admittedly, can look a lot like borderline in the manic phase), not major depression. Your point about misuse of SSRIs is all too valid, especially in this patient population, since they can provoke switches and cycling when used alone (a mood stabilizer is first line).

  • Just as alterations in individual biochemistry - for example - developing emphysa - causes emotional malaise. This is because the mind and the body are a unity! While drugs can help in the short term, don't be fooled into thinking you need to stay on drugs - its really just masking the problem. What you need is a revolution in perspective - a lot of the time the depression is trying to tell you something - the key is having the intiative to implement change - external or internal.

  • @ExtremeBogom I HIGHLY disagree with you. I've had clinical depression, started cutting at 11 & the first time I tried to kill myself, I was 12. When I was 20 I overdosed on 125mg of ambien cr & who knows how many tabs.

I couldn't help or control myself. I am finally turning my life around. I am now on prozac instead of everything else i've taken over the years.

  • nd I was jus prescribed prozac to "try for a week"

  • i had severe depression at the age of fourteen . i was suicidal and hospitalised but with therapy and prozac i was helped a lot and now i fell i've really learned and grown up from the experience . it helped shape me who i am today , depression makes u much more aware of peoples feelings, i also definitly think it should be treated as a disease and not made fun of . u wouldnt make fun of someone with cancer

  • i so wanna watch this! but just after i read the book
