How did we get from an era of hip hop artist standing and fighting against apartheid in Africa, to an era of punk ass wannabe, shuck and jive, jiggaboo gangsta rappers, that brag about enslaving their brothers with drugs and pimping out their sister. It's beyond me.

Hey, we are writing research paper on Hip Hop in Post-Apartheid Period in South Africa. Do you know any hip-Hops songs that were produced from 1994-1997

@AizhamalMarat
yes! one right of the back is Stetsasonic A.F.R.I.C.A. but it was out in 1986 let me get back to you on some others. i don't think 1994-1997 was the best period for the conscious hip hop i think it was more from the time period of 1984-1991.
