@Mariyfer12508 anencephaly happens when the neural tube doesnt close entirelly, leaving the brain matter exposed to the amniotic liquid. therefore no brain develops neither the meninges (skull). omphalocele is when the the intestinal arch doesnt retrieve to the abdominal cavity, different to a gastrosquisis, an omphalocele is covered by an amniotic layer, wheras in gastrosquisis the intestine arch isnt covered by anything. omphalocele isnt mortal, but the fetus at the left has some otherdiseases
