@normalais also Georgia by your definition was mini-Empire itselve as it had 3 autonomous ethnic republics within it - Adjaria, S.Ossetia (now independent state) and Abhazia (now independent state), Ukraine too has autonomous Crimea republic, regions of compact habitation of Romanians, Hungarians and Ruthenians - it is just a fact which proves nothing - the fact that a country is Federal state (or Empire as you call it) proves nothing - you live in Federal state (Empire) which is called USA

@Ura293 Russia is an empire and as all empires in history they try to control as many other countries as they can. That's what happened to Ukraine, to Georgia in 2008, and that's what will happen to Baltic States if we let you.

@normalais as for Russia does not like NATO bases close to its borders-it is well known and officially anounced by Russian Government- the same USA did not like when Khrushchev deployed missiles in Cuba (by the way in responce to US deployment missiles in Turkey - lol!) as a result Carribean crisis of 1962 nearly started nuclear war-but what does it prove?You base your proves on general statement that Russians don't like Georgia's plans -but like/dislike is the right of anybody,-it not actions
