they should have to keep their heads inside the cars
-
Hard to say how they took off so quickly

@xracing45 However i do agree with the fact at the Qm racing level taking that kind of risk at that young of an age and letting you child do that without reprimanding him after even if he changed the belts on the track is irrespnisible. But the again if your son breaks his neck you'll have to deal with it. Darwin at work i suppose.

@xracing45 i raced Qm as well and an asphalt it is better and faster to control the car if your head is out. Right now im in college taking physics and i would love to explain to you th4705 how it all works but i think your pride couldnt handle it.

the car who fliped, it was his fault he fliped. he pinched the other car in the wall and that other car pounched back. whats you get for not payin attention.

you walked away from that? looks like ur helmet caved in.....

@xracing45 If you dont lean onf asphalt and your a heavyer driver you can easily bike and flip. alot of the cars balnce has to do with the drivers body weight. Ive flipped enought times to tell you even if your not proply belted in you will always walk away with little to no injurys a scratch at the most
Hard to believe that you would say that the parents dont control how you are strapped in, you might be able to fool someone that doesnt have 12 Championships and almost 70 wins in bigger cars ! I have been racing and involved my whole life and just puchased a 1/4 midget for my 4 yr old son , and the 1st thing i showed him is how he will not hang out of his car and the car i bought was from the kid in our area with the most QMA wins on dirt without hanging his head out as a target!

@th4705 ok well i didnt know you were some "amazing" driver, so mr. 12 championships, dont you know that you can adjust the belts while on the track? the parents dont control that and my belts were tight. but just because i lean out like every other asphalt quarter midget driver i have known in my past 12 years of racing it looked bad. and dirt q/m are different than asphalt with how the car handles so you can sit up straighter. and if you win so much i suggest going somewhere with competition.

Pretty sad that a parent would put their childs safety at risk just to try to go faster , maybe more seat time and better home work they could strap their child in safely so they have a chance to grow up and race at a later date!!

@th4705 actually im the driver and ive been racing since i was 4. and the parents dont control how the driver wants to be strapped in. i had the belts tight and you have to lean out the side to race and its more comfortable for me. ive been racing for about 10 years at that time and im sure if you did your research you would understand what its like to race quarter midgets. i was fine from the flip and still race other things now. they are safe and many nascar drivers started out in them.
