  • @nickhornell ehh, nothing compared to what a C5M can do.. this Rotation is nothing special in the USAF. It is probably light, but but minimum fuel loads are usually ~80,000lbs for a C5. It all depends on mission. I have personally planned 300,000lbs of fuel and 130,000lbs of Cargo with 70 Pax on a C5, and rotated at 7500' down runway. They are not that underpowered... dont forget the wing is what gives it its massive lift.

  • The plane is empty (cargo hold) with hardly any fuel...awesome!!

  • I watched that all the way to ++10kft. They kept that rate of climb for 5+minutes, circling just to the east of the airshow. Very impressive.
