I met Billy Van a in 2000 on Halloween day. His accountant worked in the same building I did. I reckonized him and politely thanked him for all the entertainment he had given me. Then I asked how is Brucey and his reply in character of the Count...ah yes Brucey...I said thankyou twice and laughed he smiled that was a great moment.

The shows back then didn't dumb things down like they do for kids now. A lot of this stuff was a bit over our heads but it didn't stop us from trying to figure it out. Billy Van, he never got the credit he deserved. He was stuck on the Party Game for years.

this show was way better and more educational than any show on tv for kids now a days. u just can't find stuff like this around any more. i was born in 79 and they showed this in canada all thru the 80s and up till the 90s at some point when tv stations started all changing.

this was a very educational show, it had grammar slammer hammer, the professor, poetry from vincent, the oracle talked about astrology, and the vet would come and see igor and explain stuff about animals, the zoo guy would kind of do the same but more about wild animals and not pets.
there was the wolfman who had psychedelic fun music, the librarian was the boring old fart that would always piss you off and make you laugh lol. grizelda was just whacky, igor was funny and the count told history.
