@rob60201 All the "ECO FRIENDLY BULBS" give off ugly, gloomy light and the government should not tell us how to light our homes. Afer all, I"M paying for my light bill, so i'l decide what bulbs to use. Sure, the old bulbs give off more heat than light which raises ur electric bill, but there are ppl like me who can afford it AND any added heat during the cold months is alway welcomed. to top it off, it an old bulb breaks u dont have to worry about mercury. u probably work for the "green" police
