  • But not more torque your not going to get more torque at 3k with a 182 than you will wil a 427 its that simple.Use whats best for the Application Ive heard these supra this supra that for years it amazes . ive built a bunch of them they are a great engine they are in a street car looking at 1000 + hp in my opinion not anywhere near as streetable or as reliable and areLaggy its not a smooth drivable package you cannot replace the cubes .Please stop the Ranting back and forth

  • Anyways im commenting because shit let these agruments end.The Sand car that engine is in would suck with a laggy 182 with a huge 88 or larger turbo you need torque now not later so to me this is a way better choice.I Build alll sorts of engines 4 valves 5 valves 2 valves it just a matter of what fits the application.4 valve motors have more valve area and will be able to run high rpm to feed the cylinder in turn Tq times rpm equals hp so they tend if designed right to make more hp.

  • Agreed, Nelson, the larger displacement motor is the optimal choice in the sand car where you jump on and off the throttle. That is coming from someone that has a supercharged 372cu.in. Hemi, cams, etc. (561rwhp) and a 182c.u. 2JZ Supra (844rwhp without NOS). The 2JZ is forged by God himself to run 1000whp with stock internals but it is meant for a street car.

The driver of the Lambo has a better chance of getting struck by lightning then being able to beat the highly modded import car Wait its fair because the import car won LOL. that's what gets me the most it's ONLY okay if the import car wins
