@Raudawg ..daytime driving lamps are the reason people drive around at night with no lights on. it appears that the lights are on when theyre not. that means youre driving with no rear tailights on. safe? also there are cases at night where you only want parklights on for example. this extra crap just means more expensive to buy, more to break down, and more headache than anything else. we get so used to everything being automatic that its more inconvenient and dangerous than it is good.

Not so! On a number of mountain or desert roads shadows and heat mirages can and do make an oncoming vehicle nearly invisible. Sort of a low tech and unwanted form of stealth. It can be deadly when passing.

thats not a daytime running light, its a high intensity bulb developed by sylvania to assist the high beams.

I second that...I hate having to replace light bulbs so often nowadays....you dont need those lights on all the time...if everyone turns them off think of the fuel we would all save

Wasn't meant to be a compact car.
It's a full sized sport luxury car.
I'd rather be in one of these than a compact car that would most likely end up being bug guts all over this car's grille.
