What the fuck does "out of calibration" mean ? I am a software engineer and this should not happen.

If those morons are unable to create software for a voting machine, put an Android tablet in there and I will create the voting software for free and I promise you it won't ever be "out of calibration".

Or, even better, just vote on a fuckin piece of paper.

But we're in 2012. Why would someone make something as important as voting machines using crap technology ? And, more important, why would anyone accept such shitty voting machines ?

I can't stand conspiracy theorists, but in this case someone needs to go to jail either for fraud or for gross negligence. Cause, as a european, I am terrified that this is how it's decided who gets to control the most powerful military in the world and probably the world's largest nuclear arsenal.

This is criminal !!! A voting machine should not be able to vote when decalibrated, capisi?they are programmed to do it,see the video on youtube with the testimony of a witness saying that voting machines can be easily programmed. ?

I could program a fucking voting machine running on Windows 95 and it would be more reliable than this piece of shit.

Guy, the touch screen feature is out of calibration. Happens to my GPS all the time. There's a calibration tool that has you touch circles on the screen to "calibrate" it.

Just take an old atm machine, change the options, and there you go.

you're a software engineer and you don't know what the calibration of a touch screen is!? People do it everyday on the iphones and tablets. holy shit you sound fucking stupid.

No it does not mean 'tampered with'...like sniper said... it means the way the surface of the screen is 'calibrated' as in 'mapped' is not correct. For example, the mapping is moved about an inch right, meaning the overlap of the touchscreen is mismatched to the graphics. You are a software engineer and you don't know 'calibration'? How? I agree of course they should have tested this before hand. This i a huge fail.
