This is a simple tutorial on tuning in Forza Motorsport 2. It is in no way complete or all-inclusive, but the material covered here will help anyone interested in improving their tuning for racing. Other areas, such as toe, caster, differential settings, transmissions, etc. are soon to come. Comment as necessary.

  • Cannnnnnnnndy Caaaaaaane...

i wonder if anybody will get this

  • @TheRiseagainstfan

    Caaaaaannndy Caaaaane.. =D

  • Isn't a positive camber better for the tires that are on the inside during a turn? and negative for the tires on the outside? So, if you have negative on both sides wouldn't the inside tires resist the turn? How would you balance this out?

  • @necrofagg0t Positive camber WOULD be best for the tires inside the turn. However, this poses distinct problems. First, if the tires were cambered for one direction of turn, say Left, then they would be ill equipped to handle the opposite, or Right-hand turns. This is counter-productive. That is, unless you're a NASCAR, then it's not only best, it's the only way to be competitive.

  • Second problem: Forza Motorsport doesn't allow camber differences between left and right sides. In other words, if you've set Negative Camber in the front, it affects both front, not just one

  • Casber/ Camber depends on the car!

  • Your point is? This entire video shows that camber and caster must be adjusted depending on the characteristics of EACH car. Don't leave comments on my videos like this.

  • Ha, my lowered GS300's camber is at like -3 rear.

  • @theriseagainstfan lol he sounds like trucker from roadkill

  • Wow man, you did an awesome job of explaining that.

  • i rekon forza should had made it so you are able to tune the ecu. sucks you can only do ratios and shit

  • awesome video i been lookin for one

  • so if i'm right the positive camber is better for drag races. i don't need to corner at all but will it slow the car down if i max it at positive instead

  • Tuning demands too much patience. Thank goodness for these videos, I'll copy all the strategies that I possibly can.
