in 50 seconds this man taught me more about those lung sounds than my lectures have.

what is the difference between an rhonchi, and rale sounds, I dont know how any of those should sound. I have this problem right now, that I hear y lungs making a slight sound when I breath in that rounds like a cat's rrrr..., It also akes me want to cough bad because I feel like I have something in there that I need to expell. It also causes me to run short of air and take deeper breathes. Chest pressure I think so too.I know is in my lungs and is very inconfortable. I dont think is whistle

I cann't get the different between wheeze and rhonchi

Because of the alveolar collapse there would be less air in the lungs and the percussing would be more dull. This is what I've just been tought (I hope it's correct), I'm in the beginning of my clinical studies though, I haven't experienced it yet on a patient.

@jcoleCRNA Agreed. Nursng courses counfuse me so much.

thank you
It's a good question---I really don't know.
I have seen lot's of lungs with atelectasis, yet, I haven't found it helpful to percuss them.
Peace.
