When winther hit Denmark in 2010, the roads got covered in snow and temperatures went below zero in Copenhagen. As the first bike city in the world, we went out on the streets to see if the Copenhageners still use their bikes despite the snowy weather. You can find more information about biking in Copenhagen at http://www.visitcopenhagen.com/transport/bike-city-copenhagen.

  • does everyone in Denmark speak English as second language? it seems people interviewed in this clip were all proficient English speakers in their daily lives.

  • Good to know we are not the only ones that ride on bikes :P

  • @artamdelaroja LMAO thats really funny! :P

  • good

  • 3 reasons why this video could not be made in italy :

1 hot chicks like the ones in the video would be sucking politicians dick, not riding a bike. not a chance.

2 there are not cycling lanes AND your bike would probably be stolen WHILE you are riding it

    3 nobody speak english.

cheers, from the land of the losers.

  • @aahmovingon You should. Just remember to lock your bike.

  • @aahmovingon

You're welcome =) Thats a great idea, although it's way better in the summer ;)

  • @broke1986 Thanks for the info i would love to visit the country during winter and ride my bike there.

  • @diomonddragon

That varies, the last few years has been a "white winter"...usually we get the most snow in january and february...

  • @aahmovingon

Yeah we lock our bikes, but if you have an expensive bike, it's likely someone eventually will try to steal it, or just the front wheel. If you see an unlocked bike it's more or less accepted to take it. (Ofcourse it's theft, but if you like your bike, lock it, otherwise it's public)
