These gum removal tricks have been around forever. You can google it and a bunch of techniques come up. The oil way is my favorite out of them all since olive oil is very beneficial to hair and skin.

OTHER WAYS to remove gum
You can also use peanut butter or ice.
However, ice is to remove a small amount of gum from hair. The ice method works better for removing gum from clothing. In the past I have used hairspray to remove gum from clothes.
