  • i like commercial spaceflight. NASA and the government can't do shit right.

    atleast not anymore.

fuck the government. get the free market to develop the rockets. it will fucking work.

  • I think its funny how the said its part of the constellation program

  • They need to put together a space exploration fund. I know it would not give them near enough but its a start. I would give to it every month as much as I could. I want to see man go far in space. Its the only frontier for man to move to. If we don't start getting there now the future of man kind will be in danger.

  • Ares I is the result of the constant budget wrangling. You cant keep shorting a development program on money and then figure they can play catchup for free. Then when they cant (because they insist on being paid for their work) say the whole idea never had a chance.

Having a private company step in to take over for NASA should be the ultimate embarrassment to our useless political system. It just shows how little our politicians can accomplish compared to their fore bearers.

  • I hope Congress overrules President Obama on this !! Constellation should continue !! The Ares 1-X worked ! It lunched !! It worked ! It worked !!!

  • @Brommes

    Short answer, no.

  • You counter the impressive scientific and engineering teamwork shown, with the lunacy of the Obama administrations commitment to killing manned space programs.

  • I wonder if Nasa could have Ares flying as soon as at the end of the shuttle program with a little effort .. Could be really nice .
