Facts about my Palette
EDIT : Before my palette was being produced Chickaboom told me it was going to be made in Canada. I thought it was but they didn't end up doing so and to correct myself it's imported. Regardless it's still made out of all the good stuff mentioned below. xoxoxo

►Eyeshadows are specifically pressed MINERAL eyeshadows (like all Chickaboom eyeshadows), not regular eyeshadow

►Contain NO TALC (like all Chickaboom eyeshadows)
Background: There has long been great controversy with TALC being closely related to Asbestos, which is carcinogenic. The truth is that Talc and Asbestos are mineralogically related, that is, it is possible to find asbestos contaminants in talc. Many companies that use talc in products test (or claim) that the talc they use is asbestos free. In order to remove such doubt about TALC, Chickaboom uses a talc-free formula for its eyeshadows). Talc-free also means that our eyeshadows are better suited for sensitive eyes and less irritating

►Eyeshadow pans are 26mm full professional size pans (same size as those used by MAC pro)

►ENVIRONMENTALLY friendly design. The PU palette case was designed specifically to be completely REFILLABLE. Each eyeshadow pan can be popped out and replaced when finished. Chickaboom will be launching individual replacement pans in over 50 colours and growing. The empty pans are aluminum and can therefore be recycled where facilities exist - that means virtually NO WASTE!

►My PU palette is made out of a durable padded leatherette case which is easy to travel and minimizes eyeshadows cracking or breaking while travelling; The non-hard shell case also means that there won't be cracks on the case.

►Full size mirror in the palette is professional high grade quality. Cheap film-coated plastic mirrors will peel and become cloudy over time. The mirror in the RR palette will stay clear and beautiful

►Completely CUSTOMIZABLE. You can pop out, rearrange and add colours as you like. Perfect for make-up artists to plan and travel for work without having to carry unnecessary or extra items

►Paraben (chemical preservative) free

►Comparable custom palette from MAC costs $180.
Coastal Scents charges $8 for the case and $4.50 for each eyeshadow (Total: $62US for 12 eyeshadows). Chickaboom is charging $49.99CAD, and my palette has 15 eyeshadows and the case isn't plastic!
