That's what I thought before, but then I read all the lyrics. It's actually about love and romance and it kinda makes fun of the story of Samson and David. It's not biblical at all and it was written by an non-believer.

Nah it isn't making fun of them. It's an opinion by the writer. Even though we screw up, screwing up is still a cold and a broken Hallelujah. I interpret it like, every experience, good and bad, mistakes and not, are all a gift from God. Life was the biggest gift he gave, to be alive to even experience the bad things is a cold a broken Hallelujah to the gift of living.
