It was actually a very average movie. I'm not sure what people found amazing about this story - I felt that Bharath overacted at areas, and Tammanah was way too bubbly for my liking, story was just really basic. People said it was a beautiful movie, I found nothing interesting about it and fail to understand why it was so successful. However, many tell me that JWM was awesome, so I'll check that out to look for differences.

@srippersouthy who's comparing Shahid to Bharath. I don't agree that Bharath's a better actor than Shahid, but that's a separate issue. What I'm saying is that if they did want to make a copy of JWM then it's fine. But who in the whole wide world asked them to copy EVERYTHING, from the COSTUMES to the DIALOGUES? Ghajini and Pokkiri weren't copied that way. I understand you're a Tamil Film Industry champion, so if you don't agree to this, then so be it.

Ok i just have to say the tamil jab we met songs SUCKED...the Bolllywood version had AMAZING SONGS and as for the acting Tamanna pissed me off and Bharath is amazing as usual

family stories , you mean moronic tearjerkers. I must admit that Hollywood has its own share of junk movies too. But let me tell you that they are far, far far more creative as far as stories go...
Well, Indian movies reinforce stereotypes. Most Indian movies I have seen have been copied. There is no originality at all!
I admit however that as far as song sequence picturization goes, the Indians are unbeatable.

The story is very cute. So there's a chance that the movie will do well. But the performances of Bharath and Tamannah cannot come any closer to that of Shahid and Kareena. They just simply rocked in JWM...and that is why JWM will always remain special no matter how many times it is remade.
