@Papped1710 Yeah, they were the ones I was talking about. I knew Sheldon and Dr Cox. Also Bones in the tv show Bones, Dexter Morgan from Dexter, Britta from Community, Malcolm Reynolds from FireFly. But compared to the amount of religious ones it's an incredibly small amount.

@ActuallyLiam Dr cox from scrubs, sheldon cooper from big bang theory. There aren't many obviously open atheists on tv but mostly because their shows have little to do with religion. You don't have any clue on their stance till they start explaining their side, or in house's case mocking the other :D

What is weird about it is the reason that he gives for doubting the existence of God is that he can't accept that all of this as being one big test. If there was ever a character that lives for tests, it would be House. He loves to show how he can understand something or figure out something that others can't. So it doesn't seem in character for that to be his reason. I can see him as an atheist if they gave him some other rationale, but the one they gave him is 180 degrees from his character.

@AlphaDogOmegaDog: then you haven't payed attention to all he says because he actually uses quite a lot of arguments and comments which go against the unintelligent, illogical idea of god, as well as any other crap humasn imagined which have no basis in reality.
