Ed and the guys singing Sweet Caroline in the middle of the 8th inning. It was a great Red Sox win over the Rockies 2-1!!
In response to the question often asked, "Why is Sweet Caroline played in the 8th inning at Fenway Park?": There was a story written in the Boston Globe about the reason a few years ago. The girl who was/is responsible for the music started playing it, usually when the Sox were winning or when the game felt 'good.' When the new owners purchased the Sox, they asked that it be played in the middle of the 8th inning at every game.
Just a reminder: I choose not to participate in 'bashing' other teams and using foul language. I wish to respect the younger set who frequent YouTube and will delete extremely vile comments. Thanks for your help in keeping comments clean!
