'"The Voice of the Gun" (singular, I've heard), but you're right, Sailor, it's a brilliant counterpoint to Jarre's music (and the plot) in "Lawrence".
Alford the composer was the Sousa of Britain.

Title should read "Voice of the Guns" (made v. famous in Lawrence of Arabia, played by the LSO, I think.
