I'm really surprised at the replies I've been getting lately from younger people, like you, to posts I've put here and elsewhere, which essentially relate the happiness I experienced from having grown up in the 50s, 60s and 70s. Those decades were great to have lived through! Life wasn't perfect, but it was exciting, and people were real. Now, everything seems to be breakable, expendable, plastic and fake. The world's really changed, but I'm not sure all the changes have been good or positive.

You got that right. While we have no choice but to live in the present, with music, we can escape any time we want to and live in the past, even if it's for a short time. Make the most of the present, but enjoy the past.

agree 100%. may 7th 1950. long for more innocent times(pre 9/11) and have to be positive in the now. can always visit our old reliable friend(music) for comfort. thank GOD.
