Starbucks recruited the e+motion team to communicate the company's shift to embrace LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) for all new construction. There were two key objectives: explain LEED (developed by the U.S. Green Building Council) in an easy-to-digest fashion, and make it clear that Starbucks is fully committed to the new direction.
Given the technical subject matter, it was important to draw the viewer in with a mix of compelling, briskly paced images. Select interview comments were added from key Starbucks employees to build credibility.
The result is a potent mix of dynamic elements, turning a potentially forgettable topic into an informative viewing experience...and a lasting impression.
Viewer response has been overwhelmingly positive and inquiries regarding Starbucks' participation in the LEED program has risen sharply.
