all these diy dolly's look slightly bumpy to the point that it defeats the purpose, i would never want to use that footage.

@mmovie Another question.. would it go round a bend?

I find it funny that you wrote that chrisbanach guy a reply to his comment that he wrote 2 years ago. LOL Now that's good comedy.

@chrisbanach - A tripod with wheels is not near as clean as this type of tracking setup.... try to use the tripod with wheels on a sidewalk; every TINY bump you touch will result in trashed video.... this tracking system avoids any slight bump what-so-ever, giving you clean movement.

What skateboard wheels did you use? Would abec 5 be good bearings?
bruvvamoff 2 months ago
@bruvvamoff some old ones. get large ones maybe longboard wheels, make it much smoother as there softer too. any abec as youll be holding it anyway wouldnt really make a difference.

@mmovie Another question.. would it go round a bend with the wheels staggered like that?
bruvvamoff 2 months ago
@bruvvamoff No, they need to be able to swivel independently , u can buy sets and just bolt them onto a board or something. try ebay

just a question: why not rather use simply a tripod on wheels? they sell wheeled dolly adapter at BHPhotoVideo for $39...
