Grade 5 river rafting at the mouth of the Nile River in Jinja, Uganda. The tour group, Nile River Explorers filmed our trip but I've edited the DVD to show only our boat. I'm the one with the maroon shorts in the back left of the raft. Good fun!

  • this brings back the terrible memories of my white water rafting experience. never gonna do it again.

  • @MsMonkeyBean ouch - what happened? Was it in Uganda? Yeah I did this once but don't know if I'd do it again tbh....

  • Great music!

  • @kyral210 - heh yeah well actually it was the company that put the soundtrack on the video they made - I just took out the clips from the other groups. Who are some of the artists, I recognize System of a Down, PUSA but don't really know the rest. Cheers, Glenn

  • yeah well im not trying to blame my crew but if u notice... everyone stops paddling whenever we hit a rough spot so we kept capsizing...

  • @MsMonkeyBean LoL why? What happened? It's amazing, I do it every time I can!

  • @glennaldosf Haha indeed, when they do that the boat is just a toy for the currents.

  • Nice music. That water is gigantic; I mean the channel you guys were going down was only one of several and it still had huge volume. I like the clip near the end where the guide tosses his paddle away before they hit the hole because he knows there's no way they'll make it through. Also, excellent kayakers.

  • i dndnt understand all wat u say...

    speak properly u so slang....

  • @DoctorIncredible Actually that's one of the unique things about the Ugandan Nile is that the water is deep enough to do this rafting without the risk of getting banged up against the rocks. Hence, it's grade 5 but still accessible to novices. Anywhere else, would probably be for professionals only due to the rocks.

  • i was there in december 2010 damn it was awesome
