Same principle can be applied to gossip, slander, false testimony etc. As christians we use our tongue to sing, give praise and pray to God and we can't use our tongue to gossip and destroy a soul.

There are christians tolerating this iniquity and drinking it like it's water. It's kind of discouraging to see this, sometimes you can't tell the difference between hollywood and self-professed body of Christ now :(

People can't always choose to live in the finest house, wear the best clothes or drive the dream car. However, we all can easily choose the best language. It is so sad that people actually choose ugly, cheap, nasty language. Some people look so good and then they open their mouth. And out comes the ugliest trash.

If you want the best, you can easily start with your own mouth. It won't cost you a cent.
