Colonel David Crockett of Tennessee, played by John Wayne, explains to a young native Texian woman named Flaca why people should be willing to make sacrifices to crush evil, and how that validates the worthiness of a person's life. He characterizes doing right as being alive, and doing wrong as tantamount to a walking "dead man".

Excellent!, One of John Wayne best films, JohnWayne is my favourite cowboy actor. Thanks fer posting this video clip. 5 Stars. Thanks to BreshiBaraElohim fer sharing this vide.
Unfortunately, they don't teach REAL US History in schools. The Battle of the Alamo was not about freedom. I am not belittling their 13 day struggle with it to be commended. I realize I may get a thumbs down for this but I think our entire country is brainwashed to think that our poop does not skink. We as a country do have a past which like many people is not necessarily a nice one past. But that past makes us what we are today.
