No, the game IS third person. You can play it as 1st player if you so wish, but all the players who did one of the Beta tests agreed 3rd person is best for this game because of how big areas are and how abilities are used. You need to be able to see as much of what is going around you as you can

Yeah I'm just hoping that its 1-time pay. Because i promised myself never to pay a monthly fee to a game. Unless il commit seppuku after. And I dont feel like that.
