Quadrophonia - Quadrophonia (1990/1991)

Produced by Lucien Foort and Olivier Abbeloos. First released in 1990 by Belgian label ARS records and re-released in 1991 by RCA records.

First there was house, then there was 'hard house' (techno). A year after it's original release this Dutch/Belgian track went to number 14 in the UK Top 40 in april 1991 and marked the international breakthrough of the new hard house sound. After the UK 'Quadrophonia' also hit the charts in Belgium, Germany, Holland and lots of other countries. Soon followed by big international club- and chart-succes for acts like T-99, Human Resource and L.A. Style (also Dutch projects).

This is not the official vid, but a remake to fit the remix featuring large parts of the original video.

I didnt even know this had a video ffs! I remember my dad playing his crappy, boring music when I was growing up. And I hated it. But here we are now, with kids of our own, and the music we could play them is harder and more brutal than anything thats popular now lol. Haha. Stick your "grimey" dubstep where the sun dont shine, let daddy play ya some Quadrophonia or T99 and see whos boss :-)
