Fine demo. Phil owns. Happy Birthday to one of the greatest songwriters of all time!

@a1193851 Are you for real????? The Coors over this??? lol, that's the most ludicrous thing ever! Sorry dude.

Cool Demo!
The Corrs Blow Monkeys for Quarters!!!

@a1193851 Try this video for the original version. I personally can't stand the Corrs version because IMHO the piano solo on the original is what makes it so amazing, and they left it out!

his death was so sad :(

i believe .. the cover of the corrs .. is soo much fresh ...

This is actually a pretty good demo. I have heard lots of demos that were not as refined as this. Phil was a great song writer. The Corrs cover of this song is a tribute to his greatness.

This certainly is not as good as the final version wich is VERY good indeed! I like the Corrs version too but Philip L. wrote the song and he was a genius, one have to say. The final version is on "The Philip Lynott album" The cover is the same as the photo of this post, of Philip L. himself. The rest of the album is not v. good... I believe P.L.´s best ever song might be "Honesty is no Excuse", not so often heard. Thank´s f. posting. Interesting version!

@tylerdurden4495 Call it a difference of opinion then.
Can someone direct me to the album release? That's what I was looking for in the first place.

@a1193851 No. As hot as the Corrs are, they suck. Try and find the regular Lynot release in decent quality and let me know what you think. It blows the Corrs outta the water.....

There was a clip version of Phil's song where he sang I believe it took place in Dublin, Ireland, at least it looked like it. I can't find it on YouTube any more. It was really good quality and also there was a lady in it. Does anyone know where that video is?
